Consultation
Raybright provides prospective Clients with a complimentary Technical
and Business Evaluation. Our goal is to understand your existing business
application, get a clear picture of your business issues and needs,
and determine if we can help. You will receive a comprehensive application
evaluation and business needs assessment, free of charge.
Our Business Application Consultants will work with you one-on-one
to develop a clear picture of each and every concern that you are
currently facing with your business application. Whether you need
to fix or "upsize" an existing application that you are
having problems with, or you need to design and build a new custom
business application from scratch -- Raybrigt experts will help you
flesh out your options and determine the best, most cost-effective
approach to meeting your strategic and operational objectives.
How Raybright Consultations Work
The FIRST STEP is to understand your current line-of-business application,
and your primary business objectives, special needs and concerns.
In most cases we will ask you to send us your current application
for a detailed technical evaluation (STEP 2). Our Technical Evaluation
Team typically requires 2 to 5 business days to analyze an application.
We will contact you immediately following our internal evaluation
to share our observations, and discuss alternative approaches to meeting
your business needs (STEP 3).
If your business and application needs are well-defined and well-scoped,
we can provide you with a Project Cost estimate right away. If your
application needs require further focus and/or refinement, we will
work with you to properly scope and prioritize your application needs.
We take a very disciplined approach to help you get the most value
-- and properly align your business needs with your budget. Raybright
experts will help you separate "must-haves" (features that
are essential to meeting your business needs) from "nice-to-haves"
(features that tend to impact cost more than application value).
A Proposal (STEP 4) is the final step in our initial Client engagement
process. Raybright Proposals are always clear and concise (typically
2 pages): they lay-out your business objectives and key application
requirements, and include an estimated or fixed project cost and development
schedule. We often recommend initiating new Projects with an Application
Prototype -- as a low-cost, easy way to communicate application requirements
and develop a fixed Project cost.
